Description: Team members will compete in physical activities and answer questions about famous scientists. They will work individually and as a team.
Number of Participants: 4
Competition:
1. There will be 4 individual physical activities to complete and 4 individual questions to answer about famous scientists, then a team physical activity and a team question to answer.
2. The possible physical activities include: jump rope; basketball shooting; soccer ball dribbling; bean bag toss; tire run; throwing at a target.
3. The clock will start when the first team member starts the first physical event. Each team member will complete one physical event and then answer a question about a scientist. If the question is answered incorrectly, another question will be given until one is answered correctly. The participant can pass after the question is read if he/she doesn't know the answer.
4. After the participant answers a question correctly, he/she will pass the baton onto the next teammate. This teammate will then complete the next physical activity and answer a question correctly.
5. This will continue until all four team members have completed their activity and answered a question correctly.
6. Then, all 4 team members will complete a joint physical activity together and answer a question together. The clock will stop when the group question is answered correctly.
